Gel is a pre-mixed product with little to no odour that is applied to the natural nail, or an extension and is exposed to UV (Ultraviolet) light to cure/harden the product.

A flexible, natural looking enhancement.

Hard gel is more durable of the two, it is also the most common type of gel used for extensions but takes a little more work to remove.

An acrylic overlay is the use of powder form acrylic mixed with liquid monomer. When exposed to air this mix will harden over the natural nail, leaving a strong and glossy finish on your client’s nails. These nails are a great fit for clients who are looking to protect their natural nails from chipping or breaking. Although it is important to warn your client’s that taking these nails off themselves may cause damage to their natural nails, so it’s best to come for maintenance 3 weeks after their appointment.
