Pathway to Aesthetics

Course Overview

The Level 3 Organisation Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Procedures of Aesthetic Practitioners is designed to provide learners with an entry level qualification into the beauty and aesthetics industry. Learners will develop a broad understanding of health and safety in aesthetics practice, communication and consultation, client assessment and skin analysis and anatomy and physiology for skin treatments. This non-regulated qualification is aimed at non-medical professionals seeking a pathway into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation who do not wish to follow the traditional beautician route. Learners who successfully achieve this qualification will be able to progress to foundation aesthetic programmes that we also provide such as foundation dermal fillers and foundation anti wrinkle injections.

Level 3 Course Structure

To achieve this qualification learners must achieve all 4 mandatory units.

  1. Principles of Health and Safety in Aesthetic Practice
  2. Principles of Communication and Consultation
  3. Principles of Client Assessment and Skin Analysis
  4. Principles of Anatomy and Physiology for Skin Treatments

  • Recovery Position / CPR
  • Medicine Interactions
  • Hepatitus B Virus

 Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 6-8 Weeks

This is an estimation of how long the course will take to complete by the learner, this is the length of time that it will typically take to achieve and demonstrate the level of attainment necessary for the award of the qualification, ie. to achieve all learning outcomes.

A minimum time of completion is 6 weeks before a learner can move onto any aesthetic courses.

The SFJ Level 3 Organisation Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Procedures of Aesthetic Practitioners is designed to develop the broad understanding of health and safety in aesthetics practice, communication and consultation, client assessment and skin analysis and anatomy and physiology for skin treatments. This qualification is aimed at non-medical professionals seeking a pathway into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation who do not wish to follow the traditional beauty route. Learners who successfully achieve this qualification will be able to progress to foundation aesthetic programmes that we also provide.

This qualification is aimed at non-medical professionals seeking a pathway into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation who do not wish to follow the traditional beauty route.

This course is combined with Foundation Dermal fillers ;-

The Foundation Dermal Filler course will give you all the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform Dermal Filler treatments to the lower third of the face including the lips.

Learners will cover the theoretical knowledge that includes the structure of Hyaluronic Acid (dermal filler) and treatment processes. The need for thorough client consultations will be explained and how to provide them. Also included is a wide range of modules crucial to giving you the best understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the face and skin, all theoretical study is done on an online platform that can be completed in the comfort of your own home or workplace.

The Level 3 Organisation Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Procedures of Aesthetic Practitioners is designed to  develop the broad understanding of health and safety in aesthetics practice, communication and consultation, client assessment and skin analysis and anatomy and physiology for skin treatments. This qualification is aimed at non-medical professionals seeking a pathway into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation who do not wish to follow the traditional beauty route.

This course is combined with Foundation Anti Wrinkle Injections (Botox)

As a cosmetic treatment, Botox injections can reduce the appearance of skin wrinkles. Botox injections are the most popular cosmetic procedure nationwide.
