Our Cannula Masterclass will allow an Aesthetic Practitioner to widen their treatment techniques when using Dermal Fillers. This advanced course will teach you the fundamentals concerning the use of a cannula during procedures such as dermal filler or anti-wrinkle injections. Upon completion of this course, you will have a clear understanding of the techniques of using a cannula and be confident in the differences between a cannula and needle injection. We will also go into detail around the appropriate time to use each technique.

Using a cannula during invasive procedures can lead to quicker and safer results during the treatment, if performed correctly. By using this injection technique, you are able to offer clients a more comfortable procedure, with less bruising, bleeding, and complications. Overall, the cannula technique is sure to improve your treatments and bring positive results for your clients.

Treatment prices can start from £200 per treatment but can increase to several thousand pounds depending on treatment area and skill level.

What does our Cannula Masterclass cover?

This Cannula Masterclass will teach you the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to start treating your customers straight away. The Cannula Masterclass will cover treatments to the lower third of the face, the jaw and cheeks.

What do pre-requisites do I need to complete this Cannula Masterclass?

As this Cannula Masterclass utilises injectables, this course is only suitable if you are certified in performing such treatments. You may be certified if you are one of the following:

• Foundation Dermal Filler Qualification

This Cannula Masterclass is an advanced follow up to our Foundation Dermal Filler Course, in order to be insurable when performing this treatment, you MUST have already completed a Dermal Filler Course.

In order to train in Dermal Filler, you must have one of the following qualifications:

• A nurse
• A Doctor of Medicine
• A pharmacist
• A dental nurse
• A paramedic
• An SPMU/Aesthetic Practitioner with 6 months+ or a Learner with the new Level 3 IQ Award.

Will I be practicing on a live model during my Cannula Masterclass?

Yes. All courses require you to practice on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in. Please note: models will need to meet the necessary pre-requisites before partaking. Please ask us for more information.

Who are my trainers?

This Cannula Masterclass is currently taught by a fully qualified nurse and prescriber. Although all our trainers have 20+ years’ experience within the beauty industry and frequently spend time in our beauty clinics and training academy to ensure their knowledge is up to date.

Does the course come with the relevant kit?

I work fulltime, can I complete this during evenings and weekends?

Yes! This Cannula Masterclass is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your Cannula Masterclass will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch, with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.

What will my qualification be for my Cannula Masterclass Course?

You will receive a accredited certificate for our Cannula Masterclass. This will gain you the necessary insurance to be able to start treating customers. Please see our insurance page for more information on getting insured.
