This Fat Dissolving Injection Course will teach you how to inject Aqualyx into your client’s chin, abdomen and arms. This treatment will ensure that your client’s see immediate results after that will continue to improve for up to 3 weeks. Upon completion of your course you will be confident on the correct injection techniques, dosage, and client consultation.

Treatment prices start from around £150 – £250 per treatment. This will depend on the dosage, and the area your client has requested to be covered. • Managing expectations and complaints procedure
• Treatment area and injection techniques
• Pain management protocols (common side effects)
• Hygiene, sharps disposal and legal aspects

Practical includes:

• Injections Techniques
• Live Demonstrations
• Live Models

What pre-requisites do I need to perform this?

This Fat Dissolving Injection Course is available for medics and non-medics with the following experience:

• A nurse
• A Doctor of Medicine
• A pharmacist
• A dental nurse
• A paramedic
• Level 3 Beauty Qualification
• An SPMU/Aesthetic Practitioner with 12 months experience.
• An SPMU/Aesthetic Practitioner with 6 months experience and a qualification in Anatomy and Physiology Level 3.

You can also qualify by studying our Anatomy and Physiology course and a beauty treatment such as Microblading or SPMU. It may also be recommended by insurers that you have completed a B12 Vitamin Injection Course before progressing onto this training.

Please Note: If you would like to take our Anatomy and Physiology path paired with an advanced beauty course you will be required to have six months experience in the treatment before you can progress.

Will I be practicing on a live model?

Yes. All courses require you to practice on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in.

Who are my trainers?

All our trainers have 20+ years’ experience within the beauty industry and frequently spend time in our beauty clinics and training academy to ensure their knowledge is up to date.

Does this course come with the relevant kit?

I work full time, can I do this course during evenings and weekends?

Yes! This Fat Dissolving Injection Course is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your Fat Dissolving Injection Course will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch, with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.

What will my qualification be?

You will receive an accredited certificate. This will gain you the necessary insurance to be able to start treating customers. Please see our insurance page for more information on getting insured.
