Our PRP Facial Course, also known as a ‘Vampire Face Lift’ or ‘Dracula Therapy’, will allow you to perform this treatment safely and effectively. This treatment involves extracting a small amount of blood from the client, which is then put into a spinning process to separate the plasma from the blood.

This is then restored back the problem areas via mesotherapy on your client’s face; this aims to restore a youthful look by promoting the production of collagen. By using elements found naturally in the body, you reduce the risk of allergic reactions. Please note: Elements of Phlebotomy are included in this course; however, you will only receive a qualification in PRP Facial.

How much could I earn from PRP Facials?

Treatment prices start from around £200 for a single facial, this will last around 60 – 90 minutes. We do suggest researching competitor prices near you or talking to one of our trainers for more advice.

What does our PRP Facial course cover?

This PRP Facial Course will teach you the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to start treating your customers straight away. The PRP Facial Course will cover the relevant knowledge to safely extract blood from the client and cover how to correctly perform this facial.

• What is PRP (Plasma Rich Plasma)?

• Foundation Phlebotomy
• Protocols for covered areas
• Pre and Post treatment procedures
• Client consultation protocols inc. Medical History and Client consent
• Managing expectations and complaints procedure
• Treatment area and injection techniques
• Pain management protocols (common side effects)
• Hygiene, sharps disposal and legal aspects

Practical includes:

• Injections Techniques
• Facial Techniques
• Live Demonstrations
• Live Models

What pre-requisites do I need to perform this?

This PRP Facial Course is available for medics and non-medics with the following experience:

• A nurse
• A Doctor of Medicine
• A pharmacist
• A dental nurse
• A paramedic
• A phlebotomist
• Level 3 Beauty Qualification
• An SPMU/Aesthetic Practitioner with 12 months experience.
• An SPMU/Aesthetic Practitioner with 6 months experience and a qualification in Anatomy and Physiology Level 3.

You can also qualify by studying our Anatomy and Physiology course and a beauty treatment such as Microblading or SPMU. It may also be recommended by insurers that you have completed a B12 Vitamin Injection Course before progressing onto this training.

Please Note: If you would like to take our Anatomy and Physiology path paired with an advanced beauty course you will be required to have six months experience in the treatment before you can progress.

Will I be practicing on a live model?

Yes. Our PRP Facial Course require you to practice on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in.

Who are my trainers?

All our trainers have 20+ years’ experience within the beauty industry and frequently spend time in our beauty clinics and training academy to ensure their knowledge is up to date.

Does this course come with the relevant kit?

I work full time, can I complete this course during evenings and weekends?

Yes! This PRP Facial Course is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your PRP Facial Course will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch, with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.

What will my qualification be?

You will receive a is accredited certificate.

This will gain you the necessary insurance to be able to start treating customers. Hampson Training Academy are affiliated with Finch Insurance and you can get a quote for insurance. Please see our insurance page for more information on getting insured.
