The Carbon Laser Facial, nicknamed “The China Doll Facial” and “The Hollywood Facial”, is a non-invasive treatment that creates a beautifully clear, bright and firm complexion, reducing the appearance of acne, wrinkles and pores. This facial uses a fine layer of carbon and a laser to clear the skin, and will leave your client’s face looking and feeling smooth and spotless. Unlike many other facial treatments, the Carbon Laser Facial shows visible results within just half an hour of the treatment (that last up to 3 weeks!)

How does a Carbon Laser Facial work?

The first step of this treatment is to apply a thin layer of liquid carbon to the skin, which enters the pores and kills acne-causing bacteria. The face is then treated with a laser, using rapid, high-intensity pulses of light to heat the carbon on the skin. This carbon is then destroyed, taking any dirt, oil and dead skin with it.

The average charging price for a Carbon Laser Facial ranges from £100-£300 per session, depending on the condition of the skin before treating. It is also recommended to be repeated 2 or 3 times after the first session within the first 2 months, along with occasional follow-up sessions.

What prerequisites do I need to perform this?

You do not need any previous qualifications to do this course, but you might want to take our Facial Course before doing this one.

Will I be practising on a live model?

Yes. All courses require you to practise on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in.

Does this course come with the relevant kit?

You will receive an accredited certificate for this Carbon Laser Facial course.

Who are my trainers?

All of our trainers have 20+ years’ experience within the beauty industry and frequently spend time in our beauty clinics and training academy to ensure their knowledge is up to date.

I work full time, can I complete this course during evenings and weekends?

Yes! This Carbon Laser Facial Course is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your course will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.
