In this course, we will take you through the methods used for Gua Sha, the history of the treatment in Chinese medicine, preparation and aftercare.

What is Gua Sha?

Gua Sha is performed using a specialised tool to scrape the skin and stimulate soft tissue, increasing blood flow. Throughout the treatment, the pressure of the therapist’s strokes increases depending on a client’s tolerance and comfort.
