In our course, you will learn everything you need to know about Magnetic Cat Eye Gel Nails, including preparation, nail art and application and techniques that make the look last as long as possible.

What does Magnetic Cat Eye Gel Nail treatment look like?

This nail treatment uses magnetic polish, which contains iron powder fragments that are attracted to magnets for the cat-eye effect. Since the iron fragments are dense, they sink to the base layer of the polish, making them less visible. When a magnet is placed over the nail, the iron particles rise toward the surface and can be seen through the polish, creating the mesmerising shimmer effect that the treatment is known for. This magnet can then be used to create a variety of designs, ranging from the classic central line resulting in the “cat eye” effect to more complex, detailed patterns.

Yes. All courses require you to practise on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in.

Yes! This Magnetic Cat Eye Gel Nail Course is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your course will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.
