Microneedling is the next big thing to hit the aesthetics industry. This is an effective anti-ageing facial that reduces the signs of wrinkles and facial sag, promoting blood circulation and new collagen production. It is used with hyaluronic acid serum to make skin more supple and firm skin tone. This treatment also includes the new 24k Gold Collagen mask to finish off, leaving skin feeling refreshed and youthful. A microneedling treatment is carried out by finely piercing the skin in many areas, by a device known as a derma roller or derma stamp.

Our accredited academy provides future beauty technicians with top-level training that will give them the skills they need to start or advance their careers whilst also providing you a flexible way of learning to fit around your busy schedule. Whether you are looking to dip your toe in with an entry-level course or require something more advanced, we’ll be sure to have the course for you.

Each course goes beyond just the treatments themselves and will cover first aid, health and safety, hygiene, anatomy, and physiology. We offer courses that are both classroom-based and streamed virtually with an experienced tutor. Our academy is based in Tonbridge, with more to open around the South East in 2021. We also have a new aesthetic room which offers our students a comfortable and peaceful place to train in more advanced treatments, designed to CQC standards!

The First Training academy was established by Directors Maria Hammond, Nicola Simpson and Maria Cramp in early 2018 to provide high quality, short intensive training courses available weekdays and weekends all year round, welcoming students from all backgrounds, ages and any gender wanting to change career or already qualified therapists looking to add treatments to their menu. It was a new business venture to compliment the already well-established Beauty Salons and Beauty Supply Stores they have all owned for over 20 years.

Models play a critical part in our courses. Our tutors demonstrate treatments to our students, who then practice their newly acquired skills on a live model. Students are closely supervised by their tutor and are on hand to ensure the treatment is performed to professional standards.

In turn, the model receives a top-quality treatment for a substantially discounted price. All our treatments take place in our state-of-the-art training academy in Tonbridge, Kent with more academies to open across the South East in 2021.
