With polygel, you can create stunning nail extensions for your clients that look natural, feel lightweight, and last for weeks without lifting or chipping.

During the course, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge about different Polygel products, tools, and techniques, including proper nail preparation, sculpting, and encapsulation. You’ll also learn how to create custom nail shapes, including square, almond, coffin, and stiletto using poly gel. Our instructors will guide you through the entire process, providing tips and tricks to achieve flawless results and troubleshoot common issues.

What does Polygel Nail treatment look like?

This nail treatment starts with the preparation of the nails by filing, buffing and removing cuticles. The polygel is then applied to the nails in a bead, which is then moulded into the client’s desired nail shape. Polygel doesn’t air dry, so technicians have the time to perfectly create their client’s desired nails before curing them under a lamp.

You can expect to charge around £50 for Polygel nails, depending on your location. The nails usually last between 2 and 5 weeks, with infill sessions recommended every 3 weeks.

What prerequisites do I need to perform this?

This Polygel Nail Course is available for anyone, no matter their experience.

Will I be practising on a live model?

Yes. All courses require you to practise on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in.

Does this course come with the relevant kit?

What will my qualification be?

You will receive an accredited certificate for this Polygel Nail course.

Who are my trainers?

All of our trainers have 20+ years’ experience within the beauty industry and frequently spend time in our beauty clinics and training academy to ensure their knowledge is up to date.

I work full time, can I complete this course during evenings and weekends?

Yes! This Polygel Nail Course is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your course will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete for Polygel.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.
