Our Tear Trough Filler Course will allow an Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner to widen their treatment options when using Dermal Fillers. This course will teach you the techniques required to safely inject around the eye area, we will cover danger zones and complications during this course. This course will also go into detail around the correct way to use dermal filler are the eye area to restore volume for a more youthful look. This technique requires a stead and calm hand, so it is essential that you have an Advanced Dermal Filler qualification.

Dermal filler is made of a substance found naturally in the body, by using a substance found naturally in the body we are reducing the risk of allergic reactions.  It is then injected into the skin to fill in lines and wrinkles across the face. Typically lasting between 6-18 months, most dermal fillers used in treatments throughout the UK contain hyaluronic acid.

• Hygiene, sharps disposal and legal aspects

Practical includes:

• Live Demonstrations
• Live Models

What do pre-requisites do I need to complete this Tear Trough Filler Course?

As this Tear Trough Filler Course utilises injectables, this course is only suitable if you are certified in performing such treatments. You may be certified if you are one of the following:

• Foundation Dermal Filler Qualification
• Advanced Dermal Filler Qualification

This Tear Trough Filler Course is an advanced follow up to our Advanced Dermal Filler Course, in order to be insurable when performing this treatment, you MUST have already completed a Dermal Filler Course.

In order to train in Dermal Filler, you must have one of the following qualifications:

• A nurse
• A Doctor of Medicine
• A pharmacist
• A dental nurse
• A paramedic
• An SPMU/Aesthetic Practitioner with 6 months+ or a Learner with the new Level 3 IQ Award.

Will I be practicing on a live model during my Tear Trough Filler Course?

Yes. All courses require you to practice on a live model under the supervision of an experienced tutor. We sell model slots via our website offering the treatment at a discounted rate. If you know someone that would like to model, please let us know and we can book them in. Please note: models will need to meet the necessary pre-requisites before partaking. Who are my trainers?

This Tear Trough Filler Course is currently taught by a fully qualified nurse and prescriber. Although all our trainers have 20+ years’ experience within the beauty industry and frequently spend time in our beauty clinics and training academy to ensure their knowledge is up to date.

Does the course come with the relevant kit?

I work fulltime, can I complete this during evenings and weekends?

Yes! This Tear Trough Filler Course is available to book for both evening and weekend sessions.

What will my day be like?

Your Tear Trough Filler Course will be at Hampson Training Academy in Tonbridge (unless you have requested one of our other locations). Prior to your arrival, we will have sent you the relevant pre-study questions to complete.

At the academy, your day will start with an overview of the theory element of the course. Following this, you will then be taken through a live demonstration with your tutor, followed by a practical on a live model. Towards the end of your day your tutor will cover aftercare tips and advise you on the best methods to promote your new treatment for your business.

There will be a break for lunch, with food provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of.

What will my qualification be for my Tear Trough Filler Course?

You will receive an accredited certificate for our Tear Trough Filler Course. This will gain you the necessary insurance to be able to start treating customers. Please see our insurance page for more information on getting insured.
